Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC to safeguard clients across Education and other sectors. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service in a campus setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and responsive security operations. Daytime/evening shifts available with a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report hazards or maintenance concerns, and document incidents.
• Assist with access control, visitor inquiries, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
