Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time Security Officer Mobile Response Driver to protect clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You'll perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible presence while delivering excellent service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, comfort with computers/tablets, and strong customer service skills. You will follow site procedures, report observations, and coordinate with leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Alarm panels experience preferred.
• Access control and badge systems experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and responders as directed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and communicate with leadership.
