Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Educational Technology or related field with four years of related experience or equivalent.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on computer and audio visual equipment.
• Gather information and determine client’s audio visual needs promptly.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle in a busy environment.
• Follow guidelines to complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Manage stress with time demands and conflicting situations.
• Be attentive to all aspects of the workplace environment.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with administration, faculty, staff and students.
• Train students and staff on procedural and technical operation of equipment.
• Organize and plan work schedules to provide technical support.
• Adapt and learn new technological changes in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of Media Services centers at the campus.
• Allocate resources and provide multi-media technical support and training.
• Delegate duties to assistants and student workers; assist with virus-prevention updates.
• Operate college vehicle to transport equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory, schedules, and records; perform preventive maintenance.
• Support faculty, staff, and students on use of multimedia equipment and Technology-Enhanced classrooms.
• Assist the Director with work schedules and special events coverage.
• Plan, install, and assess hardware for multimedia equipment; convert materials to digital format.
