Required are an associate degree or technical training, 2+ years supervising teams, and strong communication skills. The role involves lifting and weekend/on-call shifts as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training or equivalent experience in facilities maintenance, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance in facilities or similar environments.
• 2+ years supervising staff, crews, or contractors.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret work orders, plans, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational priorities established by leadership and communicate work status and needs.
• Monitor activity, trends, backlog, response times, and performance metrics; recommend improvements.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and small projects across staff and areas.
• Review estimates, work orders, and maintenance plans for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assign work, monitor staffing, and adjust daily tasks to meet priorities and schedules.
• Oversee campus maintenance work and ensure safety and compliance with standards.
