Ideal candidates have 4+ years in facility maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor staff. The position requires weekend/on-call responsibilities and a valid driver's license on University business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment and systems.
• 1+ year providing work direction or mentoring to others.
• Advanced maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and facilities knowledge.
• Ability to interpret work orders, plans, and specs.
• Proficient with tools, equipment, and machinery used in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work activities, requests, schedules, and resources.
• Provide technical guidance and monitor work quality.
• Support project planning, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and act as a liaison for general maintenance.
• Ensure safety requirements and standards are followed.
• Develop recommendations to improve reliability, safety, and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate work orders, estimates, and documentation.
