Job summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive maintenance, work orders and minor renovations across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, temperature controls, lighting and electrical systems.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5 years related experience including two years in a supervisory/management role, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This is a full-time, day-shift on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field required.
• Five years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Temperature Controls; two years in a supervisory/management role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Provide management services to complete Preventative Maintenance, Work Orders and minor renovations across HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, temperature controls, lighting and electrical.
• Oversee and coordinate trades staff to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and safety regulations during maintenance activities.
