Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the culinary team by keeping a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area. You will wash utensils and dishes, stock supplies, and assist with deliveries while maintaining a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and customers.

This role involves standing for long periods, exposure to kitchen hazards, and adherence to safety standards. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, and a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Familiarity with industry best practices in food service.
• High school or vocational training in kitchen basics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.

• Sweep and wash floors; assist with deliveries and upkeep.
