Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is hiring a Kitchen Support role to assist the culinary team with keeping a clean, organized kitchen and dining area on campus and in schools. You will operate a commercial dishwasher, stock supplies, and support basic food prep as needed.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable communication with management and fellow staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
• Wash utensils, equipment and dishes by machine or by hand
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans
• Stock supplies in serving areas and storage areas
• Sweep and wash floors to maintain cleanliness
• Sort and dispose of trash to designated areas
• Assist with basic food prep as directed by chefs
• Help unload deliveries and organize stock
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with staff and customers
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, or texts
