Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service is hiring a Kitchen Steward to support the culinary team by keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized. You will wash dishes, stock supplies, and assist with deliveries while maintaining a positive attitude and professional conduct.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to sanitation practices to support a busy hospitality environment on campus and in partner locations.

Qualifications

• Teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Experience operating a commercial dishwasher.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Wash utensils, equipment and dishes in a dishwasher or by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards and refrigerators.
• Sweep and wash floors of kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist with unloading and stocking deliveries.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, and texts.
