Job summary

Ohio University is seeking a Student IT Support Specialist at the Chillicothe Campus to provide hands-on technical assistance, troubleshoot software and hardware, and support classroom technology.

You will answer help desk calls, enter work orders, inventory and test equipment, and assist with event setup and operation of technology for campus programs. Flexible hours and entry-level IT experience are offered to enrolled students with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools required.

Responsibilities

• Answer help desk calls, enter work orders, and resolve technical issues.
• Check out, deliver, inventory, test, and clean computer equipment.
• Operate and maintain classroom and event technology equipment.
• Use communication tools like Teams to log and report technical issues.
