Job summary

Ohio University Southern Campus invites applications for the Student IT Support Specialist position to work on the Southern Campus in Ironton, Ohio. You will provide IT help desk support, assist with equipment checkout, inventory, and campus project support.

The role is entry-level and intended to give exposure to IT in a university setting. Enrolled students with a GPA of at least 2.0 are welcome to apply; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student in Ohio University or partner institution.
• Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools.
• Willing to work flexible hours including mornings/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support by answering calls, entering work orders, and resolving issues.
• Check out and deliver equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory, testing, and cleaning of computer equipment; support campus projects.
