Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a Student Assistant - Lab Assistant for the White Library Student Technology Center. You will help students with check-in/out and provide basic tech support while ensuring courteous, front-line service.

Current enrollment in at least 6 credit hours is required. Responsibilities include printer maintenance, phone coverage, and maintaining a clean workspace, with some nights or weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Proficiency with basic software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
• Strong communication and patience when assisting students and the public.

Responsibilities

• Check students in and out of the Student Technology Center.
• Troubleshoot and assist students with computer hardware, software and internet issues.
• Check printer, add paper and change toner cartridge.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Keep area clean and neat.
