Job summary

Arizona State University’s Research Technology Support team is hiring a Systems Support Specialist to join our hands-on deskside IT group on the Tempe campus. You will be the go-to technical resource for ASU employees, researchers, and visitors, tackling Windows, macOS, and A/V issues with patience and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Solid foundation in Windows and macOS
• Familiarity with A/V equipment troubleshooting and conference room support
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support remotely, via phone, or in-person.
• Deploy and image desktops, laptops, tablets, and software.
• Set up and troubleshoot multimedia in conference rooms and hybrid spaces.
• Drive ASU golf carts to deliver or service IT equipment when needed.
