Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time Hocking College student.
• Must meet federal requirements for SAP.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via email, phone, and in person.
• Assist with installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support software updates, patches, and security fixes with IT staff.
• Perform routine system maintenance and antivirus scans.
• Unbox, image, and deploy new computers for campus labs.
• Organize IT storage areas and assist with inventory tracking.
• Coordinate e-waste disposal and equipment recycling per procedures.
• Setup and configure audio-visual equipment for meetings and events.
• Provide in-class support for instructors with classroom tech issues.
• Document procedures and resolutions to aid knowledge sharing.
