Job summary

Hutchinson Community College seeks an IT support professional to assist faculty, staff and students with information technology needs on campus. This role will provide frontline help, manage computer labs, and support a range of IT systems including cloud, networks, A/V and digital media.

The position emphasizes collaboration within the ITS department, adherence to college policies, and ongoing IT planning and documentation efforts to support institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Experience providing information technology support to faculty, staff and students.
• Ability to train HutchCC staff on IT systems.
• Experience with computer labs and classroom tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support faculty, staff, and students in the use of information technology.
• Advise HutchCC staff in the use of information technology to meet institutional goals.
• Primary support for student services-based information systems.
• Manage and maintain assigned computer labs.
• Train HutchCC staff on the use of information technology.
• Support cloud, network, wireless, mobile, A/V, phone, and digital media systems.
• Maintain technical equipment and infrastructure.
• Work and participate as a team member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department.
• Assist in IT planning, implementation and monitoring.
• Maintain adequate system administration and support records and licensing.
• Oversee, develop and document new IT related initiatives.
• Serve actively on campus committees.
• Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully complete the responsibilities of the position.
• Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
