Job summary

Boldyn Networks is seeking a Part-Time Field Services Representative on the campus of Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX. You will provide on-site IT infrastructure support, address end-user and network escalations, and coordinate client activities with Boldyn Networks.

The role requires networking experience, certifications, and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work 20–25 hours weekly and may respond to outages or maintenance events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial-grade networking equipment.
• Experience with fiber and copper-based networks (PON, DSLAMS, RF via coax, and QAM).
• Certifications such as Net+, CCENT, CCNA, CWTS.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers on-site.
• Work with Boldyn Networks to address end-user and network escalations.
• Coordinate client activities (e.g., move-in) in partnership with Boldyn Networks.
• Respond to emergency outages promptly and monitor alarms.
• Investigate and retire equipment alarms and coordinate with local partners.
