Job summary

University of Pikeville seeks an IT AV Events & Support Technician Level 2 to assist with advanced A/V and IT operations for campus events. You will lead setup/teardown, provide on-site support, and train Level 1 staff while coordinating with event organizers to meet A/V requirements.

The role involves testing advanced A/V systems, including IP-based setups and hybrid platforms, and maintaining equipment inventory. Located on campus with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with A/V and IT operations for campus events.
• Ability to mentor Level 1 staff and provide on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with setup and teardown of complex A/V and IT systems for campus events.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot escalated issues.
• Mentor Level 1 student staff and coordinate with event organizers.
• Test and configure A/V systems, including A/V over IP and hybrid platforms.
• Maintain equipment inventory and assist with routine maintenance.
