Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a temporary Customer Care Specialist to provide direct customer service at Panther Central on campus in Pittsburgh. The role includes front counter assistance, online chat and phone support, data entry, and policy explanations for housing, dining, parking and ID cards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and three years of experience are required; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with data entry and using university systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact to public via front counter, online chat and telephone.
• Assist with administrative functions and data entry in University systems.
• Explain housing, dining services, parking and ID card policies to students, staff, visitors.
• Monitor lobby area and report problems to staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
