Job summary

OSU-Stillwater is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Financial Assistant to support accounting data entry and reporting. You will enter data into the Banner system, analyze differences, and communicate with originators to correct entries. You will also route calls, mail, and payment documents across campus units.

The role requires basic office software skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle daily report distributions and on-demand check requests for multiple OSU campuses.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or conferred by start date.
• Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
• OSU-specific training and departmental standards apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounting data into Banner and analyze discrepancies.
• Distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports generated from the financial system.
• Verify receipt and delivery of reports to appropriate personnel.
• Route calls, incoming mail, and coordinate distribution of payment documents.
• Process and coordinate distribution of the 10A on-demand check requests for multiple OSU campuses.
