Job summary

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater is seeking a Financial Assistant to enter accounting data into the Banner system, analyze differences, and communicate with originators to correct entries. You will distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports and ensure timely delivery to appropriate personnel.

Responsibilities include routing calls, handling incoming mail, and coordinating a centralized on-demand check request for multiple OSU campuses.

Qualifications

• High School/GED; degree conferred on or before start date.
• Financial Assistant I- no experience required.
• Financial Assistant II- 1 year of related experience.
• Financial Assistant Sr- 3 years of clerical/customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Enters accounting data into the Banner system and analyzes differences or errors.
• Distributes daily, weekly, and monthly reports generated against the financial system.
• Verifies that reports have been received and delivered to appropriate personnel.
• Route incoming phone calls, distribute incoming mail, and coordinate the distribution of the 10A on-demand check request for multiple OSU campuses.
