Job summary

Bellevue Montessori School seeks a part-time Facilities Manager to maintain three campuses, oversee security, and coordinate renovations. You will liaise with contractors, manage vendor quotes, and ensure safety compliance while supporting school operations.

The role offers 25–35 hours per week, with some weekend requirements and remote work flexibility, in-person for meetings and on-site projects. Starting October 12, 2026, compensation reflects $38–$40 hourly DOE.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience planning and overseeing multi-step capital projects from bidding to inspection.
• Hands-on general maintenance and day-to-day repairs.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous recordkeeping and scheduling.
• Reliable, collaborative team player with flexibility to adapt to school needs.
• Customer service experience with professional, responsive communication.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of parent, staff, financial, and operational information.
• Oversee facility improvements, security, repairs, and maintenance across three campuses.
• Manage renovations and capital projects with contractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Respond to repair requests and perform light handyman duties.
• Source and manage vendor relationships and on-site service appointments.
• Track vendor work and file receipts and invoices.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance and support emergency planning.
• Use Google Workspace for communication, tracking, and scheduling.
• Maintain Facility Drive for budget and work records.
• Be available outside standard hours for large projects.
• Attend weekly meetings.
• Back-up coverage for campus front desk when needed.
