Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and presentation.
• Proficient with computer tools (Word/Excel/PP/Outlook).
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follows recipes, portions, and production worksheets; reviews meals for quality.
• Trains kitchen staff on food prep, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory within guidelines; ensures product availability.
• Decides on leftover food utilization within policy.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Attends departmental meetings and staff development.
