Gourmet Dining, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across premier campus dining programs in the New York region. You will oversee a designated dining account, deliver creative menus, and ensure top-quality food safety and guest satisfaction.

This role offers leadership of a dynamic team in a high-volume environment, with responsibilities spanning menu development, cost controls, and collaboration with marketing and operations to elevate the campus

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive culinary management experience.
• Proven success in high-volume dining, foodservice, or catering environments.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing food costs, labor budgets, and inventory controls.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary operations for a designated dining account in the New York region, providing strategic leadership and hands-on support.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork within the culinary team.
• Create and execute diverse, innovative menus reflecting current trends and client expectations.
• Manage food and labor costs while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and resource optimization.
• Drive new culinary initiatives and collaborate with marketing and operations teams.
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance standards.
• Support catering operations, special events, and campus-wide dining programs.
