Compass Group USA is seeking an Executive Chef-Residential Dining for Emory University in Atlanta. You will lead culinary vision and daily operations for a dynamic campus dining program, delivering exceptional food quality while fostering innovation and teamwork.

You will oversee a culinary team, ensure food safety, and partner with campus leadership to create memorable dining experiences for students, faculty, staff, and guests. The role emphasizes cost control and menu innovation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive culinary leadership in high-volume environments.
• Experience directing operations in large-scale dining or healthcare/education settings.
• Strong budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and waste-reduction skills.
• HACCP knowledge and rigorous food-safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all culinary operations with high quality and presentation.
• Develop seasonal menus and innovative recipes meeting diverse dietary needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team.
• Oversee high-volume production and catering operations for optimal guest satisfaction.
• Manage costs through purchasing, inventory, forecasting, and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and safety standards.
• Partner with dining leadership to introduce new concepts and campus initiatives.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and cost-effective product quality.
• Promote a positive, collaborative kitchen culture focused on continuous improvement.
