Job summary

The University of Kentucky University Events team is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Event Manager to support the planning, coordination, and successful execution of events.

The role requires managing reservations, collaborating with campus partners, and ensuring events adhere to policies and safety requirements while delivering exceptional service to students, staff, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MA required with at least 1 year related experience.
• Experience with event management systems and reservation processes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of event reservations using the University's Event Management Software.
• Coordinate reservations with clients, campus partners and stakeholders to facilitate planning and approvals.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout planning and reservation process.
• Assist patrons with submitting requests for campus spaces and approvals.
• Review requests with University departments to ensure proper planning and approvals.
• Maintain accurate event records in the Event Management Software.
• Ensure events comply with policies and safety requirements.
