Job summary

Kalamazoo Valley Community College is seeking an Events Coordinator to manage facility rentals and internal reservations across Arcadia Commons, Bronson Healthy Living, Groves, and Texas Township campuses. The role handles inquiries, contracts, and logistics for events, including setup, teardown, and access control.

The position offers a full-time schedule with core hours Monday–Friday, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience.

• Ability to manage multiple campus locations and events.
• Proficient communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility rentals and reservations across Arcadia Commons, Bronson Healthy Living, Groves, and Texas Township campuses.
• Respond to inquiries and arrange walk-throughs or tours.
• Process facility use agreements, summarize charges, and prepare invoices.
• Coordinate room setups/teardowns, parking, staffing, A/V, and other resources.
• Lead assigned projects and collaborate with campus departments and external stakeholders.
• Provide on-site support for events from load-in to load-out.
• Train users on scheduling software and troubleshoot problems.
• Support market analysis, process improvements, data collection, and space capacity management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
