Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana – Sellersburg is seeking a CAB Assistant to support campus programming and events. The role involves assisting with preparation, coordination, and implementation of student life activities, while serving as a student leader to help guide programming decisions.

The position requires a high school diploma and customer service experience, with an interest in event planning.

Qualifications

Customer service experience required.
Interest in event planning and coordination.
Strong communication and organizational skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

Work with SGA to represent the student body’s voice when selecting future events/activities.
Assist with event logistics (setup, teardown, attendance tracking, outreach and marketing, and other duties assigned).
Work weekly in IvyLife to track Student Org needs.
Create fliers and other promotional materials for events/activities.
Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
Assist the Office of Student Life with post-event assessment.
Attend/work at Ivy Tech Sellersburg-sponsored events and activities.
Attend and actively participate in CAB/Student Life event-planning meetings.
Actively encourage students to participate and/or get involved on campus.
Help to maintain the organization and flow of the Student Life Center.
