The Johns Hopkins University seeks an Electric Shop Supervisor for the BSPH Facilities Management Department. The role leads ~10 union electricians, planning, assigning, and inspecting work on campus electrical infrastructure and equipment, including high voltage systems and fire alarm interfaces.

You will guide preventive maintenance, coordinate outages, ensure safety and code compliance, and support capital planning with staff development and budget adherence.

Formación

• Oversee installation, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical systems on a university campus.
• Supervise approximately 10 bargaining unit electricians; assign and inspect work.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and university/department standards.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules, coordinates and supervises installation of conduits and equipment on a large campus.
• Maintains campus high voltage system, performs preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Trains staff, develops goals, and ensures safety and quality in operations.
