Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Peabody Institute seeks a Plant Operations Supervisor to lead a team of five maintenance staff and contractors in Peabody-owned buildings. You will schedule activities, oversee HVAC/plumbing work, and ensure safety and quality in all maintenance tasks.

You will implement preventive maintenance programs, manage work orders in MAXIMO, and assist in capital planning and budgeting under the Director of Facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Trade School graduate required.
• Three years of directly related experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a plant operations staff of five plus contractors, ensuring work meets JHU standards.
• Develop and maintain schedules for plant operations activities, vendors, and staff.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance, and use MAXIMO for work orders and reporting.
