SSC Services for Education is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Electrical Shop on a university campus. You will lead the maintenance crew, oversee repairs, and ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

You will supervise staff, manage client expectations, and support daily operations with a focus on safety and quality. This full-time role requires a hands-on leader with strong troubleshooting skills and dependable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with technical training preferred.
• Certifications in electrical or plumbing are highly preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot/fix various problems or issues.

Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance crew and provide mechanical assistance to campus buildings.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Supervise employees and manage client expectations.
• Provide operational maintenance training support to staff.
• Assist operations in executing initiatives and project assignments.
• Assist districts in setup and installation of assets.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and staff schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
