Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic at our Baltimore location. The role involves maintenance, installation and repair of electrical and pneumatic systems under general supervision.

Required: Journeyman Electrical Card, high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a 4-year Electrical Apprenticeship, and 5 years of related experience. OSHA safety knowledge is essential; pneumatic tube systems, fire alarm systems, and high-voltage gear experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrical Card required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a four (4) year Electrical Apprentice Program, approved/accepted by local or state government.
5 years of related work experience.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices including OSHA safety equipment.
Pneumatic tube system, Fire alarm system, and high-voltage switch-gears a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance, installation and repair work on electrical/pneumatic equipment, systems and components.
Work performed under general supervision using tools and techniques of electrical technology.
