Job summary

Qualifications

- NICET Level I certification preferred.
- Knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, and fire alarm technologies.
- Ability to read schematics and NEC/industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire detection and alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain fire alarm detection and suppression systems.
- Support campus projects requiring outages for fire alarm, smoke detector, or duct detector systems.
- Isolate and re‑enable fire detection systems during hot work activities.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and testing activities.
- Communicate effectively with Facilities staff, contractors, and hospital personnel.
