Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced Assistant Food Service Director to oversee culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations at York College. You will recruit, train, and manage a large staffing team including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering staff.

The role emphasizes delivering high quality food and friendly service while ensuring professional, efficient, and profitable operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• At least two years’ foodservice experience.
• Proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
• Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
