Elior Collegiate Dining at Pearl River Community College seeks a motivated Food Service Director to lead a dynamic dining operation, oversee staffing, ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards, and align service with student and faculty needs.

You will manage budgets, procure ingredients, collaborate with district leadership, and drive initiatives that improve service quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction within a collegiate setting.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking preferred.
• Strong communication with hourly staff and executives required.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and development.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Budget and procure ingredients, monitor forecasts and targets.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service operations.
