Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced executive chef to lead culinary operations at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The role focuses on producing high-quality, healthy meals for guests while managing kitchen standards and costs.

You will supervise production, develop standardized recipes, and contribute to special events planning. A sign-on bonus is offered with potential relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• At least three years of progressive culinary experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• Experience with budget statements.
• Associate’s degree in culinary arts is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
• Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
• Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
