Elior Collegiate Dining in Savannah, GA is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead a team and oversee all aspects of the dining operation at Georgia Southern Armstrong University.

Responsibilities include managing functions, hiring/training, ensuring safety standards, budgeting, and coordinating with district manager. This Full-Time role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,500 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and meeting targets.
• Confer with the district manager or other departments regarding the dining service.
