Job summary

We are looking to add a motivated, effective food service director to our Elior Collegiate Dining team in Savannah, GA. As a food service director, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of a food service department to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure culinary, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Budget for the department and oversee purchasing and cost controls.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service operations.
