Sodexo is seeking a Cook to join our campus food service team. You will prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for all meals in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and consistent culinary execution.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow basic recipes and directions for preparing, cooking, and serving various food items.
• Estimate production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time and support account needs.
