Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for all meals and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, uphold quality, and ensure safe, clean workstations while supporting teamwork and food-safety standards.

This role emphasizes following recipes, adjusting servings, and maintaining readiness for varied accounts and client needs within a dynamic dining environment.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, cooking, and serving menu items.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during a shift.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
