The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support internal and external university functions, events, and services across housing, dining, hospitality, transportation, facilities, athletics, agriculture, and more.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, resolving issues per university policies, processing orders and registrations, and promoting university programs with on-site and online ticketing and payments.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• No prior relevant work experience required.
• Background checks required per university policy.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Penn State does not sponsor visas).

Responsibilities

• Greet faculty, staff, students, and visitors; serve as first point of contact in person, electronically, by phone or mail.
• Investigate and respond to issues of concern using university policies and procedures; provide guidance and timely solutions; escalate when needed.
• Process orders and registrations; create ID cards, badges; share campus logistics information such as navigation and transportation details.
