Job summary

Arapahoe Community College is seeking a full-time Custodian I to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, staff and visitors. The role includes routine cleaning, equipment care, and adherence to campus safety protocols.

Shifts start early morning (5:00 a.m.) to 1:30 p.m. with potential for occasional overtime and shift differential pay. Applicants should be physically able to perform demanding tasks and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of custodial experience.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as an individual contributor; self motivated.
• Applicant must be willing to work different shifts (day/night/weekend) if necessary to meet the needs of the department.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain campus facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas.
• Service custodial equipment and manage cleaning supplies.
• Perform detail cleaning of windows, floors, carpets and furniture; respond to problems per supervision.
