Job summary

Pikes Peak State College is seeking a Custodian I to maintain a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and the public on campus locations in Colorado Springs. You will perform floor care, restroom sanitation, waste removal, and general cleaning tasks with attention to safety and customer service.

The role requires physical stamina, flexibility for various shifts, and adherence to on-site procedures.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of custodial experience as the primary function of the job.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willing to work different shifts (day and/or night), including holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public.
• Use custodial chemicals and cleaning equipment according to procedures.
• Perform floor care including mops, vacuums, stripping and waxing as needed.
