Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Custodian I to join the housekeeping team and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all Members and Associates. The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining interiors, handling waste, and supporting maintenance tasks as needed.

Shifts occur during Center operating hours in Aurora, CO, with essential duties outlined by supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
• One (1) - two (2) years of custodial experience in large/high-volume commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Assist in minor maintenance and operation of equipment as needed.
• Rotate and replenish supplies and towels; keep containers organized.
• Clean and polish metal and glass surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager or Director.
