Job summary

Pueblo Community College, part of the Colorado Community College System, seeks a Custodian I to maintain a clean and safe campus environment. The role requires physical strength, reliability, and the ability to work various shifts, including holidays, as essential personnel for emergency services.

Located in Pueblo, CO, the position involves cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas and may include winter and summer campus duties.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of custodial experience as the primary function of the job.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willingness to work different shifts (day and/or night), including holidays if necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public.
• Dust, mop and clean floors, restrooms, and walls; clean and disinfect fixtures.
• Assist with snow removal up to 10 feet from buildings as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic cleaning equipment and report repairs.
• Use daily work orders and timesheets via the computer system.
