Union College in Schenectady, NY is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain cleanliness of office spaces and campus common areas. The role starts early, with shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 40 hours per week, year-round.

The position is non-exempt and in-person, requiring weekend work and a valid NYS driver’s license for weekend duties. Responsibilities include trash removal, floor care, carpet cleaning, and basic equipment maintenance.

Formación

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Must be safety conscious and follow safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and maintains office spaces and common areas across campus.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of bathrooms, showers, and public areas.
• Cleans, strips and waxes floors and shampoos carpets; maintains cleaning equipment.
