Union College is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain cleanliness across campus office and common spaces in Schenectady, NY. The shift runs 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 20 hours per week. This non-exempt, regular position may require weekend work and involves physical tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include trash removal, floor care, window washing, and basic carpet care, with support for event setup and occasional coverage for colleagues.

Qualificações

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must read, write and understand written instructions.
• Safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Weekend work may be required in emergencies or staffing needs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (weekend shifts).

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain office spaces and common areas.
• Remove trash; wash windows; clean bathrooms and floors; operate cleaning equipment.
• Assist with event setup (tables and chairs) as needed.
• Support colleagues and cover shifts when required.
