Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor for the University of Tulsa Bookstore in Tulsa, OK. You will lead daily operations, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and support store priorities to engage students, faculty, and alumni.

As a frontline leader, you will coach team members, manage opening/closing tasks, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment while upholding operational standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the sales floor and support store priorities.
• Provide onboarding and training support for new team members.
• Assist with opening/closing responsibilities and act as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Support merchandising, inventory management, replenishment, and POS transactions.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and a welcoming store environment.
