Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience on campus. The role partners with the store leadership team to coach associates and uphold standards that engage students, faculty, and campus communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and direct team in fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales floor and coach team to deliver a customer-first culture.
• Assist with opening/closing and store operations as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure priorities and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all store departments to help customers.
• Support onboarding and training and uphold policies and standards.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and POS transactions.
