Job summary

Responsibilities include directing operations with the Store Manager, participating in hiring/training, and ensuring a welcoming sales floor while maintaining high service standards and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a retail setting.
• 1+ year supervisory experience preferred or a graduate of the Best Seller Program.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles.
• Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all store operations and departments in partnership with the Store Manager or General Manager.
• Involve in purchasing for one or more departments and directing operational functions.
• Schedule and develop the team while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Help meet or exceed sales goals and identify business opportunities.
• Motivate the team and train new employees for the sales floor or other departments.
