Barnes & Noble College is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily campus store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales. You will develop the team, oversee merchandising, inventory, and campus relations to ensure a vibrant store environment.

In this role you will serve as Manager-on-Duty as needed, coach staff, schedule, and analyze trends to improve performance while maintaining operational standards and a welcoming campus

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Partner with Store Manager to oversee merchandising, inventory, and sales.
• Coach and develop store team, schedule staff, and monitor performance.
